1. About us and our products
The Roydery Company creates and sells original hand-embroidered artworks, apparel, merchandise, and related fashion collections. Many of our pieces are handcrafted individually and some are produced only after an order is placed.
 

2. Handmade nature of our products
Because every piece is created by hand, minor variations in stitching, texture, thread placement, colour, and finish are natural characteristics of handmade work and are not to be treated as defects. Each piece is unique, and no two items will be identical.
 

3. Product images and colours
We make every effort to display our products and their colours as accurately as possible. However, actual colours may vary depending on your screen, device settings, lighting, and photography. We cannot guarantee that your display accurately reflects the finished product.
 

4. Pricing and payment
All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (₹) and are inclusive or exclusive of applicable taxes as indicated at checkout. We reserve the right to revise prices, correct pricing or listing errors, and modify, limit, or discontinue any product at any time without prior notice. An order is confirmed only once payment has been successfully received. In the event of an evident pricing error, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund.
 

5. Made-to-order and one-of-a-kind items
Certain products are produced only after an order is placed. Timelines for such items may be longer and will be communicated where applicable. Made-to-order items and original one-of-a-kind artworks are treated as final sale, except where an item arrives damaged or defective, as set out in our Return & Refund Policy.
 

6. Intellectual property in our work
All artworks, designs, embroidery compositions, images, photographs, text, logos, and other content appearing on this website are the property of The Roydery Company / PATHFINDER, or are used with permission, and are protected under applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, copy, adapt, distribute, resell, or commercially exploit any of our artworks, designs, or content, in whole or in part, without our prior written permission. Purchasing a product grants you ownership of the physical item only; it does not transfer any copyright, design right, or other intellectual property right in the work.
 

7. Inspiration, originality and artistic influence
Art does not exist in isolation, and like all creative practice, our work may at times be informed by broader artistic movements, cultural traditions, motifs, themes, techniques, and visual languages that exist in the wider world.

Where any of our pieces is described as being "inspired by" a subject, style, era, tradition, or body of work, this is a reference to artistic influence only. Every piece sold by The Roydery Company is independently conceived, designed, and hand-executed by our artisans as an original work of authorship. Inspiration in this context means the interpretation of ideas, moods, themes, or aesthetic sensibilities into a new and original creation — it does not mean, and must not be construed as, the reproduction, replication, tracing, or copying of any artwork, design, photograph, logo, character, trademark, or other protected asset owned by any third party.

We do not knowingly reproduce or infringe the intellectual property, proprietary designs, or protected assets of any individual, brand, or entity. Any reference to a third-party name, style, or subject in a product title or description, where used, is purely descriptive and intended to help customers understand the aesthetic or thematic direction of the piece. It does not imply any affiliation with, endorsement by, sponsorship by, or association with that third party, nor does it constitute a claim of ownership over any mark or work belonging to them.

If you are a rights holder and believe in good faith that any work displayed or sold on this website infringes your intellectual property rights, please contact us promptly at rohan@theroydery.com with details of the work concerned and evidence of your rights. We take such concerns seriously and will review each notice in good faith and take appropriate action where warranted, which may include removing the listing in question.
 

8. Custom and commissioned work
Where we accept a custom or commissioned piece, the customer is responsible for ensuring that any reference material, image, name, logo, or design they supply to us does not infringe the rights of any third party, and that they hold the necessary rights or permissions to use it. By submitting such material, you confirm that you have the right to do so and agree to indemnify The Roydery Company / PATHFINDER against any claim arising from our use of that material as instructed by you. We reserve the right to decline any commission at our discretion.
 

9. Acceptable use of this website
You agree not to use this website for any unlawful purpose, or in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the site, or interfere with any other party's use and enjoyment of it. All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including where an item is unavailable, where there has been an error in pricing or product description, or where we suspect fraudulent activity. Where an order is cancelled by us after payment, a full refund will be issued.
